A multi-disciplinary artist, Sheree E. creates soul enriching music as a writer, composer, commercial jingle songwriter-producer and director, while managing her traveling music education studio.
 

Performing Artist. Composer. Director.
Valuing the importance of continuous education in the performing arts, Sheree has a degree in Arts Management, Music and Broadcasting. As a professional in the arts she works in education, recording, as a recitalist, arts event production and showcases. Her work has garnered press acknowledgment in publications such as The New York Times (for her debut EP release and performance "Songs of the Heart") along with being named in Hamptons Magazine, featured in NEWSDAY, 27East and a variety of other print and news outlets.

 

As an actress and musician, Sheree has graced the stages of "The American Theater of Actors" in New York, NY,  The John Drew Theater of Guild Hall, East Hampton, NY, Southampton Cultural Center, Patchogue Theater among others. 

 

The songstress' ability to perform and write in multiple genres ranges from pop/soul/jazz-hop to faith based music, which led to the release of “Searching For You” and “I Live to Worship You,” while also working as a music director and choir director for community organizations.

 

The renaissance artist is involved in television and film, she can be seen as an extra in the Netflix film "The Week of" starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock and the CBS television series, "Madame Secretary."

Music Educator
Continuing to share the gift of music as an educator is important, and as a voice and piano teacher, Sheree instructs students from
age 3yrs-adult in both private and group music lessons and workshops. Styles taught range from classical and musical theater to jazz, pop and praise and worship music as well as general music studies. In her words, "My goal as an educator is to help students understand the fundamentals of music and make it FUN because I have been inspired by great music teachers since elementary school and still have great music teachers and mentors. So, I want to bring the joy of music to new musicians the way it has been given to me."

Commercial Work & Media
Writing music for a variety of clients, Sheree is a producer of radio commercial music for brands such as Hampton Coffee Company, and has written music for other songwriters and vocalists. With her experience in broadcasting, she has worked as a radio show host and producer for a motivational music series called “The Evening Ride” which aired in New York. Now, she is working on upcoming new music programs for her students, new EP music releases and broadcasts.

Awards
Wanting to share the benefits of music with others, Sheree she has received recognition and awards from East End Arts and AARP Long Island for her work as a volunteer music performer for senior patients in palliative care.
